Terms of Service

Signed-in members can share a personal referral link. A person becomes your referral only by signing up through your link (including signing up with Google or GitHub). If they accept marketing cookies, your link is remembered on their device for 30 days; if they decline, nothing is stored, but the referral still counts when they sign up during the same visit. Entering a code at checkout is not possible and does not create a referral.

You earn a commission of $4 on every paid month of your referral's first Standard subscription. If your referral cancels and later resubscribes, the new subscription earns you nothing. Separately, every first-time Standard subscriber, referred or not, receives a first-month discount (currently $4). The amounts in force on the day each payment is made apply.

• You may not refer yourself, create accounts to refer yourself, or refer an account you control.
• You may not use spam, paid search ads on the Aiyubot name, misleading claims, or cookie-stuffing to obtain referrals.
• You may not offer to share or rebate your commission to induce someone to sign up.

We may withhold or cancel commissions earned in breach of these rules and close the accounts involved.

Each monthly commission is held for 45 days from the payment it came from. The hold in force when each payment is made applies to that payment's commission; a later change to the hold does not move commissions already earned. If that payment is refunded or charged back during that time, only that payment's commission is cancelled. After that it can be withdrawn from your Referrals page through Stripe, with no minimum amount, once you confirm your password. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn.

We may change the commission, the discount or these rules, or end the program, at any time. Changes apply to referrals that pay after the change takes effect; commissions you have already earned are not affected.
