You are reading the Publisher terms, for people who build and sell skills, agents and team templates on the Aiyubot Marketplace.

Publisher Agreement

Welcome to the Aiyubot Marketplace, where publishers offer skills, automations and team templates that Aiyubot users install into their AI agents. This Publisher Agreement applies whenever you build, publish, sell or manage Items on the Marketplace. Together with the other documents listed in the Terms of Service overview, it is a binding agreement between you and Aiyubot.

When you publish an Item you keep ownership of it. Buyers receive a licence to use it under the Marketplace Item License, not ownership.

Please read the dispute sections carefully. They require most disputes with Aiyubot to be resolved individually by binding arbitration rather than in court, and include a class action waiver. You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days.

1. About these terms

These documents apply to you as a publisher, whether or not you have sold anything: this Publisher Agreement; the Marketplace Item License; the Earnings, Payouts, Taxes & Refunds terms; the Content & Review Policy; the AI Tools Terms; the Copyright & IP Infringement Policy; our Privacy Policy; and the publishing guidance in our Help Center. If you also use Aiyubot as a User or an Expert, the terms for those roles apply when you act in them.

If you accept these terms for a company or another person, you confirm you have authority to bind them. Words such as "including" are not limiting, and anything "at our discretion" means our sole discretion. Capitalised terms are defined under Definitions.

2. Your account

Age. You must be at least 18 years old to publish or sell on the Marketplace.

One account, several roles. You publish from your Aiyubot account. Each person may hold one account, which can carry the User, Expert and Publisher roles. Your account and your Items cannot be sold or transferred to someone else.

Your responsibility. The information you give us must be true, complete and kept up to date, including your email address. You are responsible for everything done with your login, so keep your password secure, do not let anyone else use it, and tell us immediately about unauthorised use.

Identity. We may require you to verify your identity before you publish or withdraw earnings. We may ask you to verify again at any time.

Referrals. You can also earn by inviting new customers under the Referral Program Terms.

3. Access and restrictions

Subject to these terms, we give you a non-exclusive, limited, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Marketplace and the publishing tools for your business or personal use. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. You must not, yourself or through anyone else:

  • interfere with or disrupt the Marketplace or the Service, for example with mass messages, flooding, or viruses and other harmful code;
  • gain or attempt unauthorised access to the Service or other members' workspaces, or access it through scripts, bots or APIs we have not made available;
  • resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service itself, or use it to build a competing product;
  • probe, scan or penetration-test the Service without our written permission;
  • scrape the Marketplace or other publishers' Items, or download Items you have not acquired;
  • copy, republish, modify, reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service or Aiyubot's intellectual property;
  • use the Aiyubot name or logo as a trademark or trade name without our written consent;
  • use a VPN or other means to get around these terms, or for fraud;
  • use a false identity, impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • manipulate installs, sales, downloads or rankings, as described in the Content & Review Policy; or
  • upload anything you do not have the rights to, or that is unlawful or breaches the Content & Review Policy.

Third-party services. Publishing relies on services we do not control, such as YouTube for listing videos, AI providers for the AI tools, and payment and payout providers. You use them at your own risk, under their own terms; we do not endorse them and are not liable for them.

4. How publishing works

You can publish by uploading a ZIP package that contains a SKILL.md file, or by building an Item step by step in the Advanced Builder. An Item can be a skill or automation, and can include scripts, tools, scheduled jobs, MCP server settings and team templates of several agents. The Content & Review Policy sets out package limits and what an Item may contain.

Every listing needs a name, a description, a category and a YouTube video showing the Item; a cover image is recommended. You choose the pricing model — free, one-time, monthly or freemium — and the price in US dollars, and you may offer buyers a free trial of 3, 7 or 14 days. Price changes apply to purchases made after the change. You do not need a payout method to start selling.

We decide how Items are ranked, featured and displayed in the Marketplace, using factors such as relevance, popularity, recency and quality, and we may change how we do this. Placement is not guaranteed.

We may change the Marketplace, its features, its fee and its rules. We will give you reasonable notice before a change to the platform fee, and a new fee applies only to sales made after it takes effect.

5. Support and updates

You are responsible for your Item working as its listing describes. Aiyubot supports the platform itself; if buyers report a problem with your Item, we may pass it to you, and you agree to deal with reasonable reports promptly.

You can update a published Item. Updates are checked again before they go live, and an update that changes setup commands, tools or scheduled jobs goes to review. Buyers receive an update when they reinstall the Item.

6. Intellectual property

Aiyubot's property. The Service, the Marketplace and everything in them other than Items and members' content — including software, design, compilation, logos and trademarks — belong to Aiyubot or its licensors.

Your Items. You keep all rights in your Items. You grant Aiyubot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, for as long as an Item is on Aiyubot and for buyers' licences after that, to host, store, copy, scan and analyse it; to deliver it to buyers and unpack and run it in their workspaces; to display your listing — the name, your publisher handle, description, cover image and video — in the Marketplace and to promote your Item and the Marketplace; and to grant buyers the Marketplace Item License.

Buyers receive your files. An installed Item is unpacked into the buyer's own workspace, so buyers can see and adapt your code for their own use. The Item License forbids them to redistribute it.

Your promises. You confirm that you own or have licensed everything in your Items and listings; that they do not infringe anyone's intellectual-property, privacy or publicity rights, including names, likenesses, trademarks and logos; that you comply with the licences of any open-source or third-party components and include the notices they require; that your Items contain no malicious or undisclosed behaviour; and that they comply with the law, including data-protection law.

Listing media. Your cover image, video and screenshots must show the actual Item honestly. They are for promoting the Item; buyers get no rights to use them for anything else.

Infringement claims and feedback. If you believe content on the Marketplace infringes your rights, follow the Copyright & IP Infringement Policy. Feedback you give us about the Service becomes ours to use freely, and you assign to us any rights you have in it.

7. Your information and buyers' information

Contact details. Do not put your email address, phone number, street address or other contact or payment details in a listing or Item description.

Buyers' information. Your earnings history shows which buyers bought your Items. Use buyers' information only to support your Items, keep it confidential and do not contact buyers outside Aiyubot to sell to them.

Data your Items handle. An Item runs in the buyer's workspace with the keys and access the buyer gives it. It may use the buyer's data only to do what its listing describes, must say in the listing what data it sends to which outside services, and must never collect or transmit data, credentials or keys for any other purpose.

Security. We use safeguards to protect your information, but no measure is perfect, and we are not liable for unauthorised access to it except as the law requires.

Usage data. You grant Aiyubot a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and worldwide right to collect, analyse and use data about how the Marketplace and your Items are used, such as installs, sales and activity.

8. Playing fair

Your Items and your conduct must follow the Content & Review Policy. We may hold, unpublish, reject or remove any Item, listing or content at our discretion — for example for safety or quality, after a valid infringement notice, or where we think it is misleading, unlawful, harmful or creates liability for us or others.

Treat buyers, other publishers and our review team with respect. We may ask you to stop linking to the Marketplace in a particular way.

9. Indemnity, disclaimer and limitation of liability

Indemnity. You will indemnify and hold harmless Aiyubot and its affiliates from all losses, costs (including legal costs), expenses, demands and liability arising from your breach of these terms or from a third-party claim about your Items, listings or conduct. We may take over the defence of any such claim at our own cost, and you will cooperate with our reasonable requests.

Disclaimer. To the extent the law allows, the Marketplace, the publishing tools and the AI tools are provided "as is", and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including non-infringement, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise that the Marketplace will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted or error-free, or produce any level of sales.

Limitation. We are not liable for loss of revenue, profit, goodwill, customers, capital, reputation or data, or for indirect, consequential or special loss. Our total liability to you is limited to the platform fees Aiyubot kept from your sales in the six months before the claim arose or, if there were none, US$100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Termination

Selling on Aiyubot is a privilege for publishers who follow these terms and treat others well. Acting reasonably, we may suspend or terminate your publishing access, your Items or your account at any time, including if we see a risk to buyers or to us, or if you:

  • breach these terms or any other Aiyubot terms;
  • break the law, infringe others' rights, or commit fraud or other serious misconduct;
  • publish harmful, deceptive or malicious Items; or
  • act in a way that could harm Aiyubot, buyers or other members, including threats against them or public conduct that damages Aiyubot's reputation.

If we terminate your account, you may not open a new one. We may also close accounts that are unverified or inactive for a long time.

You can stop publishing at any time by unpublishing your Items. When an Item is unpublished or your publishing ends, new purchases stop; buyers who already have it keep their licence, unless we remove the Item for safety or legal reasons. We may cancel buyers' subscriptions to an Item that is no longer offered. Earnings released to you remain payable, less any amounts you owe and subject to lawful holds, and may be withheld where termination is for fraud.

Sections on intellectual property, indemnity, disclaimer, limitation of liability, termination, disputes and the general terms survive termination.

11. Informal resolution first

Before starting any formal proceeding, the party with a complaint must send the other a written notice describing the dispute and the outcome it wants. Notices to Aiyubot go to support@aiyubot.com with the subject line "Legal notice". The other party should reply within 30 days, and both will try in good faith to settle the dispute for 60 days after the notice. Time limits for bringing a claim are paused during that period.

12. Arbitration and class action waiver

To the extent the law where you live allows it, a dispute that is not settled informally will be resolved by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator, in English, on an individual basis, and not in court. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in a small-claims court that has jurisdiction, and either party may ask a court for urgent injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, confidential information or the security of the Service, or to recover unpaid amounts.

Disputes are brought individually. Neither you nor Aiyubot may bring or join a claim as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective or representative proceeding, and an arbitrator may not consolidate the claims of different people. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim alone goes to court and the rest stay in arbitration.

You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing support@aiyubot.com from your account's email address with your name and a clear statement that you opt out. Opting out does not change any other part of these terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Aiyubot's operating company is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section takes away the protection of mandatory laws of the country where you live.

14. Changes to these terms and to the Service

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. For changes that materially reduce your rights, we give you reasonable notice before they take effect, by email or in the product. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not, stop using the Service and close your account.

We may add, change or remove features, or suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service, including to reflect how features are used, keep the Service sustainable, or respond to changes in the cost of the AI infrastructure it runs on.

15. General

  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with the documents they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and Aiyubot about their subject, and replace earlier versions. If a translation conflicts with the English text, the English text controls.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer these terms or your account without our written consent. We may transfer them, for example as part of a merger or sale of the business.
  • Severability and waiver. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Relationship. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between you and Aiyubot, or between you and any other member.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is liable for a delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as outages of infrastructure or third-party providers, natural disasters, war or government action.
  • Sanctions and export control. You confirm you are not the subject of trade or economic sanctions and will not use the Service in breach of export control or sanctions laws, or make it available to anyone who is barred from it.
  • Electronic communications. You agree to receive notices electronically, by email to your account address or in the product, and that electronic records and acceptances have the same effect as signed paper ones.
  • Contact. Questions about these terms: support@aiyubot.com. Privacy questions: privacy@aiyubot.com.

California residents. Under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, you may report complaints to the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
