Marketplace Item License

When a buyer installs or buys an Item, the publisher grants them this licence, and Aiyubot delivers the Item on the publisher's behalf. It applies to every Item unless its listing states a broader licence.

1. What the buyer gets

A non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to install the Item in the buyer's own Aiyubot workspace and use it with their agents, for personal or business purposes, while the buyer has access to it. The buyer may adapt the installed copy for their own use. No ownership passes to the buyer.

2. What the buyer may not do

  • resell, redistribute, sublicense, share or publish the Item, or a modified copy of it, inside or outside Aiyubot;
  • republish the Item, or one substantially based on it, as their own Item;
  • remove the publisher's notices or the licence notices of open-source components; or
  • use the listing's cover image or video for anything other than evaluating the Item.

3. How long the licence lasts

  • Free Items: while the buyer keeps the Item installed.
  • One-time purchases: without time limit while installed. Uninstalling ends the purchase, and installing it again is a new purchase.
  • Monthly Items: while the subscription is paid. A cancelled subscription ends at the end of its paid period.
  • Freemium and trials: free for the stated period, then paid; if payment fails, access ends.

A refunded purchase ends the licence. Access also ends if Aiyubot removes the Item for safety or legal reasons.

4. Availability and updates

Neither the publisher nor Aiyubot promises that an Item will stay available on the Marketplace. Buyers who already have an Item keep their licence when it is unpublished. Installed copies are not updated automatically; reinstalling installs the latest published version.

5. Open-source and third-party components

Open-source or third-party components inside an Item are licensed under their own terms, which take precedence for those components. An Item may need keys for outside services; the buyer's use of those services is governed by those services' terms.
