Copyright & IP Infringement Policy

Aiyubot respects the intellectual property of others and expects everyone on the platform to do the same. This policy explains how to tell us about content that infringes a copyright, trademark or other right, and what happens next.

1. Reporting infringement

Only the rights owner, or someone authorised to act for them, may file a report. Send it to support@aiyubot.com with the subject line "IP infringement report" and include:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • the work or mark you say is infringed;
  • the content you say infringes it, with a link to where it appears on Aiyubot (a Marketplace listing, profile, proposal, message or file);
  • your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and
  • a statement that the information in your report is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

Knowingly misrepresenting that content infringes can make you liable for damages, including the costs and legal fees of the person you reported.

2. What we do with a report

When we receive a complete report, we remove or disable access to the reported content promptly and tell the person who posted it, including a copy of the report or its substance. We may also contact you for more information. We do not judge who is right in a dispute between the parties; we act on complete notices and counter-notices as described here.

3. Counter-notices

If an Item you published was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include your name, address, telephone number and email address; identify what was removed and where it appeared; state, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; state that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live (or where Aiyubot is established, if you live elsewhere) and will accept service from the person who reported you; and carry your physical or electronic signature.

We forward a complete counter-notice to the person who filed the original report. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have started court proceedings to stop the use, we may restore the content.

4. Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe the rights of others, and we may limit or close any account that infringes even once where the infringement is serious.
