Fees & Payouts Agreement
1. Platform fee
Aiyubot charges a platform fee of 10% on expert work. It is added to the price the client pays and deducted from the amount released to you.
The fee rate on a milestone is fixed when the milestone is proposed; each daily or weekly period uses the rate in force when it is billed. Card and payment-processing fees on the client's payment are not deducted from your earnings.
2. No fee for finding work
Creating a profile, appearing in the expert directory, being contacted by clients and sending proposals are free. Aiyubot does not sell bid credits.
3. Payout methods
You can withdraw available earnings to the payout methods offered in your Earnings dashboard. Depending on your country and how Aiyubot is configured, these may include Stripe, Payoneer and bank transfers through Airwallex. Each provider may ask you to complete its own onboarding, identity and tax checks and applies its own terms. You are responsible for giving correct payout details; Aiyubot is not liable for payments sent to details you entered.
For bank withdrawals through Airwallex, the minimum is $2 for a local transfer and $30 for an international (SWIFT) transfer; a local transfer carries no transfer fee and a SWIFT transfer about $16, deducted from the amount you withdraw. Other payout methods carry no Aiyubot withdrawal fee.
4. Currency
Prices, earnings and balances on Aiyubot are in US dollars. If you are paid in another currency, the conversion is made by the payout provider or your bank at its rate, and it may charge fees. Aiyubot is not responsible for exchange-rate movements.
5. When earnings become available
Payments released automatically, billed periods and bonuses are held for 7 days. All earnings also wait until our payment processor has settled the client's payment. Aiyubot may also hold an individual payment while it investigates a dispute, suspected fraud or a breach, as described in the Expert Agreement.
6. Payout security
To protect your earnings, withdrawing money and adding, changing or removing a payout method require you to confirm your password; the confirmation lasts 10 minutes. Wrong passwords count toward the account lockout. If your account first gets a password (for example, an account that only signed in with Google or GitHub), withdrawals are paused for 24 hours afterwards.
7. Use as Credit
If your account also has the User role, you can convert available earnings into Aiyubot credits for your own use of the platform, with no fee. The conversion is one-way: credits cannot be turned back into withdrawable earnings or paid out.
8. Taxes
You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. Where the law requires it, Aiyubot or its providers may withhold tax or ask you for tax forms and residency information, and you agree to provide them accurately. We cannot give tax advice.
9. Payment errors
If you think a payment or withdrawal is wrong, tell us at support@aiyubot.com within 60 days. We may correct mistaken or duplicate credits to your balance.
