Earnings, Payouts, Taxes & Refunds
1. How buyers pay
Buyers pay Aiyubot for Items through our payment processors, such as Stripe and PayPal. Aiyubot does not process card payments itself and does not pass buyers' payment details to you. The processors' own terms apply to their services.
3. When earnings become available
New earnings are pending for 7 days, or until our payment processor has settled the buyer's payment if that takes longer. They then become available to withdraw. You can see pending, available and paid-out amounts, sales and revenue by Item in your Publisher dashboard.
4. Payouts
You can withdraw available earnings to the payout methods offered in your Publisher dashboard, such as Stripe or a bank transfer through Airwallex. Each provider may ask you to complete its own onboarding, identity and tax checks. For bank withdrawals through Airwallex, the minimum is $2 for a local transfer and $30 for an international (SWIFT) transfer; a local transfer carries no transfer fee and a SWIFT transfer about $16, deducted from the amount you withdraw. Other methods carry no Aiyubot fee and no minimum. Aiyubot does not pay out to PayPal.
To protect your money, withdrawals and changes to payout methods require you to confirm your password, valid for 10 minutes, and wrong passwords count toward the account lockout. After a password is first added to an account, withdrawals are paused for 24 hours.
If your account also has the User role, you can instead convert available earnings into Aiyubot credits, with no fee. The conversion is permanent: credits cannot be turned back into earnings or paid out.
Balances are in US dollars; if you are paid in another currency, the provider or your bank converts it at its rate and may charge fees. If you think a payment is wrong, tell us at support@aiyubot.com within 60 days.
5. Taxes
Your responsibility. You are responsible for reporting and paying all taxes on your earnings and your sales, except transaction taxes that Aiyubot collects and pays itself as described below.
Transaction taxes. Where the law requires Aiyubot to collect VAT, GST, sales tax or similar taxes on Marketplace sales, we may add the tax to the price or adjust the amount payable, show it at checkout or on the buyer's records, collect it, and pay it to the authority.
Tax information. We, or our payout providers, may ask you for tax information, such as your country of tax residence or tax forms. It must be accurate and kept up to date. We cannot give tax advice; ask your tax authority or an adviser about your obligations.
6. Refunds, reversals and chargebacks
Buyers' purchases are not refundable on request. Aiyubot may refund a buyer at its discretion — for example where an Item does not work as described or was removed for breaching these terms — or where consumer law requires it.
If a sale is refunded while your earning is still pending, the earning is cancelled. If a sale is refunded, reversed or charged back after your earning became available or was paid out, we may recover your share from your balance or future earnings. We may also hold or withhold earnings connected with suspected fraud or a breach of these terms.
